Understanding yourself and appreciating your own special qualities makes connecting with others a lot easier.

Our mission for the EPIC True Colors for Students Program is to allow students the opportunity to express themselves uniquely and gain an understanding of the 4 colors that lie within themselves and others. We all have strengths and weaknesses, and bottom-line, we all want to connect and feel appreciated.

  • Team building can lead to improved academic outcomes, such as better grades and higher graduation rates, as well as improved social and emotional outcomes.

  • Students who have strong communication skills are more likely to experience positive social interactions, greater academic success, and higher levels of psychological well-being.

  • Students who received conflict resolution training demonstrated higher levels of empathy and fewer aggressive behaviors compared to students who did not.

  • Students who have higher emotional intelligence tend to have higher grade point averages, greater academic achievement and motivation, and better social skills.

  • SEL programs can lead to significant reduction in students’ behavior problems and emotional distress. A study found that students who participated demonstrated a 42% reduction in aggression, a 25% reduction in conduct problems, and a 22% reduction in emotional distress.
